District staff works hard to reduce customer costs. In addition to continually evaluating and adjusting our operations to improve efficiency, we endeavor to obtain as much outside grant funding as possible. 

Infrastructure Planning and Capital Project Delivery

Management successfully planned, funded, and delivered a historically significant portfolio of capital improvement projects across water, wastewater, fire protection, and park/community services. These efforts fulfilled long-standing objectives related to system reliability, redundancy, public safety, and regulatory compliance.

Key outcomes include:

• Completion of major infrastructure projects contemplated for decades
• Elimination of historic fire flow deficiencies
• Establishment of a permanent second water supply
• Modernization of aging utility systems
• Community-wide beautification
• County Co-Location of staffed fire engine in GCSD station
