BIO:

I am the Executive Assistant/Board Secretary for Groveland Community Services District which provides water, sewer, fire protection, and parks services. I have been employed with the District since June 2017 and I feel blessed everyday to be working with a Special District. As Executive Assistant/Board Secretary my main responsibilities include performing highly responsible, confidential, and complex administrative support to the District’s Managers and Board of Directors, including: prepares meeting agendas and material; takes and transcribes the meeting minutes of the Board and other bodies; serves as clerk and liaison to the Board, organizes and maintains official District documents and records; is liaison with District departments, staff and outside agencies; assists with the development and distribution of public information materials; provides information and assistance to the general public regarding district policies and procedures, coordinates assigned activities with those of other departments and programs; and related work as required.

I was raised in Truckee CA, and  moved to Groveland in 2000 to work as a Fire Fighter with the USFS. I have  lived in Groveland for 20+ years and have a genuine affection for small towns, and my community. I am a wife of 23 years and counting, and a mother of one daughter who is now 21 years of age. Although we have always preferred to live in the small mountain communities, my family has a passion for the ocean lifestyle. We are all Open Water Scuba Diver Certified, and never miss an opportunity to vacation to the Caribbean, or travel abroad. When I retire, you will be able to find me on a warm beach somewhere sounth of the equator. I also enjoy gardening, being on the lake, snowboarding, cooking, binging on a good series or playing boardgames, and of course spending time with family and friends.
