Administrative Services Technician I – Administration Department

Andrea Lawrence serves as an Administrative Services Technician I in Groveland Community Services District’s Administration Department. Her work focuses on providing excellent customer service while supporting the District’s communication, technology, and administrative needs.

Andrea plays an important role in managing the District’s website and social media platforms, helping keep the community informed about District services, programs, events, and important updates. She is also involved in implementing Laserfiche, the District’s electronic document management system and online applications, helping the District move toward more efficient and accessible digital records and processes.

Andrea enjoys the daily interactions she has with the community and the opportunity to get to know the customers she serves. She especially appreciates the opportunities for personal and professional growth at GCSD and the people she works alongside.

Andrea is particularly proud of being entrusted with the District’s social media program. With a background in hospitality and a passion for customer service, communication, and connecting with people, she considers hospitality one of her strengths. She also enjoys being part of the Laserfiche implementation because of her strong attention to detail and appreciation for organization and efficient processes.

Before joining GCSD, Andrea worked in the hospitality industry, where she specialized in customer service, recreation programming, and marketing. Her experience in hospitality continues to influence her approach to serving the Groveland community.

Andrea enjoys working in the Groveland community because of the friendships she has made and the wonderful people she continues to meet. She also appreciates the area’s endless opportunities for outdoor recreation. Andrea enjoys participating in community events and especially looks forward to the Groveland Facelift, where she can help keep the community clean and free of litter.
