MARY LAVERONI PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

EXCITING NEWS! The Park Asset Rehabilitation and Beatification Project has begun!

An announcement for Groveland Asset Rehabilitation and Beautification with project features and funding details.

Please be aware that Mary Laveroni Park is undergoing a MAJOR face lift! There are multiple contractors and heavy equipment so please use caution when visiting. Project Completion Deadline:

December 30, 2024

The new facilities replace the aging restrooms, which had become costly to maintain and no longer met the needs of park visitors. These modern bathrooms are designed to offer a more comfortable and reliable experience for both residents and tourists, enhancing the overall appeal of the park.

This improvement is part of the Groveland Asset Rehabilitation and Beautification Project, funded by Caltrans through the Clean California Grant Program. The bathroom replacement is a key component of the same project that brought new planters, benches, and trash receptacles to downtown Groveland, thanks to a collaborative effort with the Yosemite Chamber. The partnership between GCSD and the Yosemite Chamber has been instrumental in bringing these enhancements to life, contributing to the community's beautification and functionality.

Mary Laveroni Park serves as a central gathering place for the Groveland community, hosting events and providing a scenic backdrop for outdoor activities. The new restrooms will greatly improve the park's amenities, ensuring it remains a top destination for both locals and visitors.

Thank you for your support and  patience!
