Groveland Community Walk & Talk Part 2: Jefferson Mine Loop

Map of the Jefferson Mine Loop Walk and Talk in the Groveland Community Services District, showing trails, facilities, and landmarks.

On behalf of the Groveland Community Services District and the Blue Zones Project, Tuolumne County, I would like to invite you to attend the Groveland Community Walk & Talk Part Two, on Saturday November 16 at 10am.

Many of you attended the 1st Walk & Talk in November of 2022 when we walked from Mary Laveroni Park to the Resilience Center.  This time, we will walk the newly opened Jefferson Mine Loop Trail, just off Deer Flat Road, and you’ll get an update from GCSD on the status of the Hetch-Hetchy Railroad Trail, Mary Laveroni Park improvements, and learn a little about the history of the Jefferson Mine.

We will begin at 10am, look for the ballons on Deer Flat Road, we will have water available and an optional lunch gathering afterwards (location TBA).

We hope to see you there!
